Beloit Plan Revisited Added to the Schedule
Professor Ed Wilde and members of the class of ’68 – the Beloit Plan Guinea Pigs – will be hosting an open discussion on the development and impact of one of the most influential and forward-thinking eras of Beloit College’s history. All Beloit Plan alumni are invited to join the discussion with your own memories and reflections, but the entire campus is invited to join them under the tents on Pearsons lawn on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 3-4 p.m.

Reunion Directory Questionnaires due Sept. 12
Alumni celebrating their 50th, 55th, 60th, 65th, or 70th reunions who wish to be included in their reunion directory booklet need to submit their questionnaire form to the Office of Alumni Affairs by September 12. If you would like an additional form, a printable pdf is available online and a second form will be included in the final reunion mailing. Reunion directories have been discontinued for the 5th-45th reunions; please use My Beloit to reconnect with your classmates and share personal news.

Bill Behling Memorial Fun Run/Walk
Bill made a king-sized impact on countless Beloiters during his time as director of Dining Services. To honor his memory, the College is establishing a prize in his name. The Bill Behling Prize will recognize other outstanding college staff members who enhance our students' Beloit experience. All proceeds from the event will benefit the prize fund. The run/walk begins at Strong Stadium, Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8:30 a.m.; Registration opens at 8 a.m. The walk will be approx. 2 miles through the scenic Beloit College neighborhood. The cost of entry is $10; all participants who pre-register will receive a t-shirt. For more information contact Audra Cooke, 608-363-2301. Register today!

Beloit swag!
During recent inventory checks, we've found many Beloit items from the past, most printed with class years. They include t-shirts, paper weights, tins, mugs, decals, and more. We'd rather these items find homes with Beloiters than stay in storage. Stop in the Alumni Hospitality Center during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend and help yourself to our Beloit swag while it lasts!

Little Bucs Workshop
In addition to Saturday evening childcare, we are now offering a Little Bucs Workshop on Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. for children 12 years old and under. College staff and students will lead craft projects and games. To sign-up contact the Alumni Office.

The Usual Suspects to play 30th Cluster Reunion
The 30th Cluster Reunion planning group invites all members of the classes of '77, '78, and '79 to return to campus for a rockin' good time with The Usual Suspects. The Usual Suspects will go on at 8 p.m., after the 30th Cluster Reunion dinner on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008. The Reunion and dance will take place in the main dining room of Pearsons Hall. The Suspects cover old school rock and rhythm and blues tunes that make people want to get up and dance. The Usual Suspects sound features three dynamic singers, a rock solid rhythm section and a powerful four piece horn section!

50th Reunion Golf Outing
Members and friends of the class of 1958 are invited to participate in a round of golf on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Country Club of Beloit. There will be a Shotgun
tee off at 11 a.m. The cost of playing is $52.75 per person. This includes 18-holes and a cart. The Country Club has a dress code policy: collared shirts, no denim jeans. If you would like to participate, contact Jen Scott'01.

Sign-up for the Alumni Networking Fair
The Office of Field and Career Services is looking for alumni to participate in the annual Alumni Networking Fair. FACS invites you to come back to campus and share your wisdom and experience with current students. Join the fair on Friday, Sept. 26, 2-4 p.m., to talk about your work and continuing education experiences, get to know the next group of Beloiters who will soon be joining the workforce, and provide advice on how they can make the most out of their Beloit education! Contact FACS at facs@beloit.edu or (608) 363-2673 to participate.

Child Care Center Sign-up
College staff and student volunteers will be on-hand to ensure your child is entertained and cared for Saturday, Sept. 27 from 6-10 p.m. while you attend your reunion celebration. To sign-up contact the Alumni Office.

Now Offering a Reunion Shuttle
A small campus van will be looping from the reunion hotels to campus throughout the weekend. The shuttle will be available Friday, 10 a.m.-midnight, Saturday, 8 a.m.-midnight, and Sunday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The shuttle will also make stops at the Van Galder bus stop by appointment. If you wish to be picked up at the bus stop, please contact us with your arrival time and hotel destination prior to your arrival.

Please note: Because space in the shuttle is limited to 5-6 seats, we still recommend making prior arrangements if possible. Your reunion group in My Beloit is a perfect place to solicit car-sharing volunteers. A message board will also be available in Registration and Check-In to facilitate connections.

Online Registration is Available
The official Registration form is now available. By registering online, your name(s) will automatically be listed on the Who's Coming list. Also, in the form is a spot for you to insert the email addresses of up to five classmates to send them a notice that you've registered to attend Homecoming/Reunion Weekend 2008. Paper registrations will be mailed to all reunion alumni in May.
